Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Malaysian International Scholarship ( 2025-26, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Age Limit: Applicants must not be older than 40 years of age for Master’s degree programs and 45 years for PhD programs.
- Academic Qualifications:
- Master’s applicants must have obtained at least a Second Class Upper Division (Honours) or a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.00 at the undergraduate level.
- PhD applicants should have a CGPA of at least 3.00 or equivalent results at the Master’s level in a related field of study.
- English Language Proficiency: Proof of English proficiency through recognized tests such as IELTS or TOEFL is mandatory.
- Research Proposal: Applicants must submit a research proposal related to their field of study, containing at least 1,000 words.
- Recommendation Letters: Two reference letters from academic or professional referees are required.
